What Metal Dealer Pro is

Metal Dealer Pro is software provided to metal building dealers. It lets a customer design a building, calculates a price from that dealer's own price list, and passes the enquiry to the dealer.

We do not sell, manufacture, deliver or install buildings. Any purchase is a contract between you and the dealer. The dealer sets their own prices, terms, lead times, warranties and refund policy.

Prices are estimates, not offers

A price shown by Metal Dealer Pro — on screen or in a message — is an estimate generated from the dealer's configured pricing at that moment. It is not a binding offer, quote, or contract, and it does not obligate the dealer to sell at that figure.

A final price can differ because of, among other things:

• Site conditions, access, ground slope, or permitting requirements.
• Delivery distance and installation.
• Material cost changes between the estimate and the order.
• Local engineering, wind, or snow load requirements.
• Options or details not captured by the configurator.

Confirm any price with the dealer before you rely on it. Nothing generated automatically creates a contract until the dealer confirms it.

The automated assistant

Messages you send to a dealer's Page or website may be answered automatically by an AI assistant working from that dealer's pricing and business information. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Treat what it says the way you would treat a first conversation with a salesperson: useful for getting oriented, not the final word.

You can ask to speak to a person at any point, and the dealer is notified of your enquiry either way.

Using the service

You agree not to:

• Use the service unlawfully, or to send abusive, fraudulent or harassing content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' data, or the underlying systems.
• Scrape, resell, or attempt to reverse engineer pricing data.
• Automate or flood messaging in a way that degrades the service for others.

We may suspend access that violates these terms.

Dealer accounts

A dealer is responsible for the accuracy of the pricing and business information they configure, for keeping their account credentials secure, for having the authority to connect any Facebook Page they connect, and for complying with Meta's platform policies and applicable advertising and messaging law when using the assistant with their customers.

Intellectual property

The software, its design, and its underlying models remain ours. A dealer's own pricing data, business information and customer records remain theirs. You may use the service as intended; that does not transfer ownership of it.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid to us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limits above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

SMS messaging

Metal Dealer Pro quick-quotes and dealer texting. Dealer staff who register a mobile number can text a building description to their manufacturer's quote line and receive a price, a picture and a link. Customers who text a dealer's number receive replies about the building they asked about.

Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, and you will get one message confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or email mitch@metaldealerpro.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how message data is handled.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who it reaches, and forms part of these terms.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page changes when we do, and continued use after that means you accept the update. We may suspend or discontinue the service, and you may stop using it, at any time.
