Deleting your data

How to request deletion

Email mitch@metaldealerpro.com with the subject line “Delete my data” and include enough for us to find your records:

• If you messaged a dealer on Facebook — tell us the name of the Facebook Page you messaged, and roughly when. Copying a line or two from your side of the conversation helps us match it, since the only identifier we hold is an anonymous ID that Facebook scopes to that one Page.
• If you requested a quote on a website — the name, phone number or email address you entered.
• If you are a dealer — the email address on your account.

What gets deleted

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The building configurations and prices generated for you.
• The full text of your conversation with the assistant.
• The identifier linking you to that conversation.

We complete deletion within 30 days and email you to confirm when it is done.

What we may keep, and why

A dealer you contacted may have their own copy of your enquiry — in their email, their phone's text messages, or their own records. Deleting your data from Metal Dealer Pro does not reach those. If you want the dealer's copy removed too, ask them directly, and tell us if you would like help identifying who to contact.

We may also retain records where the law requires it, or where they are needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements. Anything kept for those reasons is limited to what is necessary and is deleted when the reason no longer applies.

Removing the app from Facebook

Deleting your data is separate from your Facebook settings. To stop a Page from messaging you, you can also block or report the conversation in Messenger, or remove the Metal Dealer Pro app from your Facebook account under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
